The entrance to the Emergency Department is conveniently located in the back of the hospital, off of Rice Street.

Emergency patients are assessed upon arrival and receive treatment in order of the seriousness of their conditions. Physicians on staff are certified in Emergency Medicine and can facilitate transfers from the emergency room to other medical units when necessary.

The Emergency Department has an array of medical specialists on staff that work together to provide all patients with the best care, no matter their age or condition.

Our emergency department is open and operating 24 hours a day to meet the health care demands of the community.
