Wound care refers to treatment of chronic or non-healing wounds that can be associated with infection, diabetes, radiation, arterial or venous disease and post surgical sites.

“Here at ACH, we recognized a need for a local Wound Care component in our community, based on prevalence of related conditions and issues.  We are thrilled to be able to offer this vital service to area residents, so that they can receive treatment from experienced professionals with proven positive outcomes in a state-of-the-art facility that is close to home and supported by the resources of Alliance Community Hospital,†said Dr. Paul Hudzik.

Dr. Hudzik, who has specialized training in Wound Care techniques, is the Medical Director of ACH WCA.  Surgeon Daniel Mitchell, M.D. and podiatrist Leslie Niehaus, D.P.M. will also support the program.

Alliance Community Hospital is fortunate to have a great team of physicians and staff members who will make this program a success. The planning and construction phases have gone well and we are looking forward to the opening so that we can help to improve the health of our community,†said Kerry Swanson, RN, CNA, BC and COO of ACH.

In addition Dr. Hudzik, the ACH WCA â„¢ staff consists of Program Director Melissa Loudon; nurses Cindy Ceroky, RN WCC and Leslie COX, LPN, WCC; Hyperbaric Technician Regina Lenzy, RRT and Office Coordinator Shawna Weber.
