Retiring nurse honored at hospital tea

October 9, 2017

Vicki Clemens, a long-time colleague at Alliance Community Hospital, was honored recently at a hospital-hosted tea to honor her retirement after 29 years of service.

Clemens began her career at ACH in 1988 as an LPN on the medical surgical-floor and continued in that capacity after becoming an RN is 2005. From 2006-2011, she worked in PCU and ICU. In 2011, she moved to Quality Services where she used her clinical knowledge to work to improve the patient experience and quality of care.

“What I have enjoyed most about working at Alliance Community Hospital is being among my colleagues who put patients first,” Clemens said. “I especially enjoy our annual Colleague Recognition Night because it demonstrates that ACH cares about our colleagues’ efforts.”

Clemens, whose sister Debbie Clemens is the current director of PCU/ICU, said she is grateful for her experience at ACH and plans to spend her retirement years traveling the U.S. with her husband.
