AVNA Wins Elite National Award

Alliance Visiting Nurse Association and Hospice, a department of <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />AllianceCommunityHospital is more than good; it is elite.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />


In fact, it is one of only 500 programs throughout the United States to be singled out for the 2008 HomeCare Elite award, which was announced at the annual meeting of the National Association for Home Care (NAHC) and Hospice in Fort Lauderdale last month.


The award is described by the NAHC as a compilation of the most successful Medicare-certified home health care providers in the United States. This annual review recognizes the Top 25% of those agencies whose performance measures in quality outcomes, quality improvement, and financial performance are the best -- and also identifies those honorees ranked in the Top 100 and Top 500.


Outcome Concept Systems is a national software vendor that examined more than 8,000 agencies nationwide comparing publicly available information  to determine the top 25% HomeCare Elite
