ACH Patient Advisory Council for Excellence seeks new members

February 27, 2013

The Alliance Community Hospital Patient Advisory Council for Excellence (PACE) is currently seeking new members to join its committee. The committee of former patients and caregivers serves to assist ACH in personalizing, humanizing and demystifying the health care experience. The task force is charged with sharing ideas and suggestions in order to establish new initiatives at ACH which reflect the hospital's mission, vision and values and that honor patient-centered care above all else. The workgroup will work with ACH administration to help enact policies and programs that honor the needs and preferences of patients and their family members and visitors.

The PACE group is currently seeking six new members with a vested interest in being involved on the working committee to help improve the health care experience and to help ACH better serve the community. PACE is currently looking for those who have been a patient or caregiver to a patient at ACH within the last 24 months in either an inpatient or outpatient setting. The council meets on a monthly basis at ACH to regularly discuss opportunities for improvement, to provide input on programs and services and to become knowledgeable spokespersons for the organization.
