ACH Hosting Diabetes Awareness Group Meeting

Alliance, OH – The holidays can be tough, but it doesn’t have to be a blue Christmas. 

Alliance Community Hospital is hosting a Diabetes Awareness Group Meeting to share tips to combat depression during the holidays on Wednesday, November 4th from 1:30 until 2:30 p.m. in Conference Room 1A adjacent to the hospital’s cafeteria.

The meeting will focus on how to handle depression during the holiday season and will feature guest speaker and social worker, Trina Arnold.

Arnold is a graduate of Youngstown State University where she earned Bachelor of Social Work and Master of Social Work degrees. She has been at Alliance Community Hospital in the Senior Care Unit since 2009. Her role in the Senior Care Unit includes counseling, family support, education about mental health issues to patients and their families, and discharge planning. She also is involved in the Alliance Community Care Network Health Coach Program as the social worker and member of the education team.
