ACH announces pet visitation policy
While Alliance Community Hospital (ACH) encourages alternative and integrative therapies that include pet therapy visits, we are unable to permit entry of other animals to our hospital.
Due to health code regulations and in accordance with guidelines stipulated by the Centers for Disease Control, we must respectfully request that visitors of hospital inpatients do not bring family pets into our facility. This restriction is being enforced in order to ensure the health and well-being of all of our patients and visitors -- some of whom may have pet allergies or fears.
Additionally, we must consider any potential negative interaction an outside animal might cause whenever coming into contact with the hospital's pet therapy animals.
Therefore, only ACH-sanctioned pet therapy animals are permitted inside the hospital. Please visit the Colleague Relations suite if you wish to view the pet visitation policy and guidelines.
