For more than a century, Aultman Alliance Community Hospital has been serving the community of Alliance with outstanding quality health care close to home, now made easier than ever by accepting most major insurances. 

Aultman Alliance Community Hospital aims for everyone who comes through our doors to experience the best health care as soon as they walk in.

A Brief History of Aultman Alliance Community Hospital

In the beginning, there was the Deaconess Home. In 1901, the Deaconess Home was the second hospital in Stark County. At the time, the hospital furnished 20 beds to serve the community. In 1914, the name was changed to Alliance City Hospital. In 1917 the hospital doubled the number of beds with a new facility expansion.

In 1948, the first board of trustees was elected to oversee the hospital, which officially became the Alliance Community Hospital in 1986. The Community Care Center opened in 1991 and the new hospital building opened in 2006. In 2018, Alliance Community Hospital became an Aultman Hospital to strengthen the community health care force.
