Visitor Guidelines

Cell phones are not permitted in the hospital. However, you may use them in the Main Lobby, Café and Rooftop Garden on the second floor.

Patient Centered Visitation

Visits to patients by loved ones and friends are welcome at the Hospital, as they are an important part of the recovery process. However, please keep in mind that patient care is our first priority. During your visit, we may need to ask you to leave the room while the patient’s physician, nurse or other hospital Colleague cares for the patient.

Alliance Community Hospital welcomes visitors 24 hours a day on both the med surg units (3 East and 3 West) and critical care units (ICU and PCU).

To keep loved ones up-to-date on the condition and care plan of a patient in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), we offer a 24-hour ICU Patient Hotline. We ask that one person be designated as the contact with the Unit. Appropriate identification must be provided by the spokesperson when calling the hotline. The ICU Patient Hotline number is 330-596-7243.

The following patient care units have special visitation hours:

Senior Care Unit

Visiting hours for the Senior Care Unit are:

Monday through Friday, 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. and 5:30 - 8 p.m.

Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, 11:30 a.m. - 7 p.m.

Visitors are limited to two per patient and must be at least 12 years of age.

Birth Place

General visitation is from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. and 6 - 8 p.m. Fathers of newborns delivered at ACH are permitted at any time. Grandparent visitation hours are from 11 a.m. - 8 p.m.
