The Imaging Department serves as a physician's window to the causes of many diseases and physical ailments. In addition to conventional X-rays, the Hospital's Imaging Department is equipped to perform a wide variety of special procedures. These tests range from mammography (low-dose breast X-ray) and CT scans (Computer Tomography) to studies involving nuclear medicine, ultrasound, MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) and bone density testing. Many interventional procedures are also performed in the Imaging Department on an outpatient basis, sparing patients the expense of surgery and longer hospital stays.
The vision of the Imaging Department is to consistently maintain a comfortable, caring atmosphere for our Imaging patients and their families. Personalizing each patients visit, leaving them with a feeling of importance, and wanting their loved ones to experience that same feeling.
The Imaging Department is part of an elite group of progressive and technologically-advanced departments in the country. With digital images, services and readings, diagnoses occur faster, clearer and more advanced than standard film. Digital images are produced without film and can be seen anytime, anyplace and anywhere.
The Imaging Department is accedited by the Ohio Department of Health, the Food and Drug Administration, Nuclear Regulatory Commission and the American College of Radiology.
