The entrance to the Emergency Department is located in the back of the hospital, off of Rice Street.
Alliance Community Hospital's Emergency Department provides specially-trained physicians and nurses who are prepared to assist with all types of emergencies 24-hours a day, seven days a week. The Emergency Department is backed by the full resources of ACH, including life support systems and an array of medical staff specialists. Emergency patients are assessed upon arrival and receive treatment in order of the seriousness of their conditions.
The staff of physicians in the Emergency Department are certified in Emergency Medicine, providing the best care for patients of any age. They are also able to facilitate transfers to other medical units when necessary.
The Clinical Decision Unit is a recently added 24-hour observation unit that provides care for patients who are not ready to be discharged, but do not require admission.
