Several Alliance Community Hospital Nurses Earn Certifications
Four registered nurses at <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />AllianceCommunityHospital recently earned specialty certifications in their fields of expertise, while another nine were awarded their Bachelor of Science in Nursing degrees at a pinning ceremony in the hospital earlier this week.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Alliance Community is one of only a few Planetree hospitals in the state of Ohio and it is the ONLY Planetree facility in the region. The four ACH nurses who recently earned specialty certifications are: 1) Lori Chunko, who has been a registered nurse since 1997. She has worked in intensive care for the past eight years and is now a Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN). 2) Kim Moore has been a registered nurse for the past 23 and-a-half years, the majority of that time having been spent working in progressive care. She is now a Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN). 3) Becky Glista has been a registered nurse for eight years, seven of which she's worked in Intensive care. She is now a Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN). 4) Jill Dorsey has worked in progressive care since becoming a registered nurse in 1999. She is now a Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN).
The nine registered nurses who received their Bachelor of Science degrees in Nursing from Indiana Wesleyan University Tuesday evening, are: Chris Cannell, Billie Jo Blair Hatton, Mike Flinn, Renee Bender, Polly Oschsendorf, Tracey Edwards and Joan Thomas of ACH and Carla Locke and Lori Williams of the Alliance Visiting Nurse Association and Hospice.
