Hospitalist Christ-Roi Cheres Now Board Certified
Alliance Community Hospital is pleased to announce that Christ-Roi Cheres, MD, a member of the Alliance Hospitalist Group is now board-certified in internal medicine. He attended medical school at Ross University School of Medicine in Dominica, West Indies and completed a residency at Coney Island Hospital, in NY.
Dr. Cheres joined the group on July 1 and is one of nine physicians who provide 24-hour in-house physician coverage at the hospital.
The ACH hospitalist program began in 2005 and offers inpatients faster, more coordinated care at the bedside by offering care plans in conjunction with family physicians and other medical specialists across the hospital continuum of services.
Under the leadership of their Medical Director Dr. Karamjit Bhullar, the physicians of Alliance Hospitalist Group work closely with patients’ family doctors and the other multi-disciplinary clinicians throughout the hospital in order to provide quicker rounding/assessment of symptoms, more efficient diagnoses and faster implementation of treatment plans.
ACH congratulates Dr. Cheres on his board certification.
