Alliance Community Hospital’s (ACH) Dr. Abdul Basit, M.D. will present a free lung health lecture on October 29, 2012, at the Rodman Public Library at 2:00P.M.
He will be answering questions about COPD (emphysema, etc.) and other lung disorders. Find out if you have risk factors, and if so, how you can be diagnosed and treated.
Dr. Basit graduated from Rawalpindi Medical College. He completed his residency programs in internal medicine at Trenton Affiliated Hospital in Trenton, New Jersey and Lincoln Medical Center in Bronx, New York. Dr. Basit participated in fellowships at The New York Hospital Center of Queens and SUNY Health Science Center at Syracuse. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, specializing in Pulmonary Disease and Sleep Medicine. Dr. Basit has been employed with Alliance Community Hospital for six years.
