Alliance Community Foundation Holds Annual Tree of Life Ceremony
On Thursday, Oct. 19, the Alliance Community Hospital Foundation held its annual Tree of Life ceremony.

Since 1989, the Tree of Life has honored those who have made generous donations to the hospital in benefit of patient needs. These donations have been distributed over the years to many different facets of patient care, including the enhancement of services, purchase of new, state-of-the-art equipment and continuation of educational programs.
The ceremony is an opportunity for donors to honor friends or loved ones with an inscription on the Tree of Life.
The evening started off with a welcome from Doria Kisling, social worker at Alliance Visiting Nurse Association & Hospice, followed by the invocation led by the Rev. Joseph Peters.
Acknowledgements were made by Emily Kobak, Public Relations coordinator, who then introduced the featured guest speaker, Louise Roth, director of Nutritional Services.
Following Roth's remarks, CEO Stan Jonas, along with June Porter from the Foundation Department, conducted the donor presentations.
Peters then closed the ceremony with the benediction.
The event was held in the hospital's main lobby at 6 p.m. A reception for those in attendance followed immediately after the ceremony.
