Alliance Community Hospital (ACH) CEO Stan W. Jonas, FACHE recently presented the Alliance Family YMCA and the Alliance Neighborhood Center each with significant monetary gifts. These donations were raised through the ACH Foundation’s Annual Charity Golf Classic, which benefits four local not-for-profit agencies.
The 13th Annual Charity Golf Classic, graciously sponsored this year by Lavery Automotive Sales and Service of Alliance, was held at the Alliance County Club on June 18th.
On Wednesday, September 5th, Jonas presented checks to Dale Nissley and Jennie Slimon of the Alliance Family YMCA and Sandy Loy of the Alliance Neighborhood Center in the amount of $10,500 each.
“We are pleased to be able to assist local organizations through our fund raising efforts,” said Chief Financial and Operating Officer Dale W. Wells, MBA, CHCE. “The community continues to be very supportive and this year’s golf outing was a great success.”
The event raised a total of $42,000, which is being equally distributed between the Alliance Family YMCA, the Alliance Neighborhood Center, the Alliance Area Development Foundation, and the Sisters of Charity Foundation.
This year’s event also included free health seminars and CPR certification for local high school athletic coaches and directors.
