ACH honors Heart and Sole walkers
Alliance Community Hospital recently celebrated walkers who have reached several different milestones at Carnation City Mall. Certificates were given to those who have hit the 100-, 500-, 1,000- and 1,600-mile markers.
The Heart and Sole walking program was formed in 2008 as a joint collaboration between Carnation City Mall and Alliance Community Hospital. It is a free program open to the public. Walkers can sign up by stopping by the mall's customer service center.
Also featured at the event were several hospital clinicians who were on hand to perform blood pressure checks, sleep screens and to talk about the new Heart Aware program recently launched on the hospital website.
