ACH Foundation Announces Inaugural Dessert Tasting Event
The Alliance Community Hospital Foundation is proud to announce the kickoff of an annual fundraising event: A Taste of Spring Dessert Tasting.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
The event will be held in the hospital's main Conference Room (1-A), which is located adjacent to the CafÃ©. Six vendors, including the hospital's Nutrition Services department, will offer delicious, mini-sized portions of cakes, cookies, pies and various other baked goods. Visitors to the dessert tasting will have an opportunity to place orders with the vendors of their choosing.
The event will take place as follows:
WHAT ~ A Taste of Spring Dessert Tasting
WHEN ~ Wednesday, May 27th
WHERE ~ Conference Room 1-A (just off the ACH CafÃ©)
TIME ~ From 10:30AM until 2:30PM
COST: $5 for all ACH employees and adults aged 65 years and older
$6 for adults
$2 for children aged 10 years and younger
â€œWe just wanted to offer an enjoyable event not only for our Colleagues and visitors, but also for the community. Our goal is to put a little fun in our fundraising efforts,â€ said Patricia Kimerer, Director of the PR/Foundation office at the hospital.
The Alliance Community Hospital Foundation is the hospital's philanthropic arm. Established in 1984, it serves fundraising functions that support programs and services at ACH, which is a non-profit facility. In the past 25 years, the Foundation has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars thanks to the benevolence of supporters from throughout <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Alliance and the surrounding areas.
â€œWe're pleased to open our doors to the community and hope many will join us for what promises to be one delicious afternoon,â€ Kimerer said.
All of the proceeds from the dessert tasting will benefit the hospital Foundation. Hospital employees receive an admission discount and may pay for entry through a payroll deduction option.
