Alliance Community Hospital’s Protective Services Department is responsible for the safety and security of all patients, Colleagues, visitors, volunteers, physicians and any others entering our campus. The department provides security for the Hospital 24 hours a day, seven days a week, by making floor rounds, parking lot rounds, escorts to and from the parking lots, life flight, securing patient valuables, hazard surveillance and assisting the floors and other departments.
The Hospital also has CCTV system in place to be able to carefully monitor all areas of the faciltiy.
Other areas under the Protective Services umbrella:
In-House Patient Transport: Responsible for the safe and timely transport of the patient to and from their room for tests and procedures throughout the Hospital.
In-house Messenger: Picks up supplies and specimens from all departments and delivers them throughout the Hospital.
Outside Courier: Picks-up and delivers supplies and other items from all departments in the Hospital and transports them to physician offices, other hospitals, banks, pharmacies, nursing homes and many other facilities.
Outside Patient Transport: Available from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. for patients who live within a 15-mile radius of the Hospital and provides transportation to and from the Hospital for tests and procedures. A 24-hour notice is required to schedule transportation and can be arranged by calling 330-596-7135.
Car Pickup: Available for our visitors and patients to provide shuttle service to and from the parking lots and other areas outside of the Hospital.
