Just in time for Thanksgiving; learn the tips and techniques to keep you fit this holiday season!
Join your friends and neighbors from throughout the community at the November 17th session of the “Heart & Sole” Walking Program, co-sponsored by Alliance Community Hospital and the Carnation Mall.
Between 7:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. on the 17th, ACH’s Director of Nutritional Services, Louise Roth, will offer a presentation entitled “Healthy Holiday Eating,” while ACH Exercise Physiologist Casey Clark will offer “Strength Training with Cans.”
All participants are encouraged to bring canned goods with them for the class, after which the items will be donated to local food pantries. Please note that canned goods are being collected at area food pantries until December 15th for holiday distribution.
For all those interested, blood pressure measurements will also be provided by the hospital on the 17th.
So come on out and enjoy good conversation and exercise – all for a good cause!
