Area residents should mark Wednesday, November 5th from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Thursday, November 6th from 6:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. on their shopping calendars.
It is on those dates and at those times that Alliance Community Hospital will host its annual fall "Books are Fun" book sale in Conference Room 1-A of the hospital.
A favorite sale among the community, the “Books Are Fun” fundraiser is sponsored by the Alliance Community Hospital’s Auxiliary.
“Books Are Fun” is a Reader’s Digest-based company, and offers a wide selection of books and unique gift items. It is also nationally-renowned for its exceptional customer service.
“Our colleagues and community members wait patiently for this sale each year, as they know they will receive quality items at great savings,” said Charlotte Furbee, Auxiliary fundraiser chairman.
“Our sale has been scheduled to coincide with the holiday season. What better treasure to give a loved one than the gift of the world through books?” Furbee said.
All proceeds from the fundraiser will be utilized by the ACH Auxiliary to enhance the programs and services at the hospital. For convenience, purchases can be made with cash or by check or credit card.
Questions concerning the sale can be directed to the Volunteer Services department of ACH, 330-596-7822 or 330-596-7821.
